Fun Couple

Doster is 15 months old!

Here are pictures of little Doster. He is my nephew and he is now 15 months old. He loves leaves as you will see below and is working really hard on walking. As a second child, he has not been in much of a hurry to walk. He is having fun working on it though!

Asia and Pumpkin Pie...

Two years ago, Asia was only a little over six months old. She made the mistake of eating the pumpkin pie. I made them while living in Colorado. She made her mistake once and I think she learned her lesson. Even when we learn lessons the temptation does not always go away. This year she was interested, but never made a move. On Coonhounds, their noses are all they have. It's so strong and intense. It's her brain. You will see the progression and the depression at the end of being defeated.



Oh yea, and then I started some decorating for Christmas! :D

Today I was at WinShape Retreat teaching a few lessons in pottery. WinShape is about an hour away from our home in Rome, Georgia. They have a studio that they have provided for me. I am able to teach lessons to their guests once in a while.

When I was in school for my BFA, I concentrated in Photography, but I took many classes in 'ceramics.' I love being able to get dirty in my art. This is a little side hobby that I love. I enjoy creating pieces of utilitarian art and being able to give these pieces away. Chris came along to spend the day with me and took pictures of me creating. I hope you all enjoy his wonderful pictures.

This morning I captured little Ellie. She is so cute with such a personality. We played so long that she tuckered out! :) I love the pictures of her sleeping.

Rina's Preparation

I am editing Rina and Neil's amazing wedding. I just came across this one. I remember taking it and loving it at the time.

You can feel how calm and peaceful she is while she prepares for her day. What an amazing woman she is.

An AMAZING Indian Wedding

Yesterday Rina and Neil were married at the Hindu Temple in Atlanta. It was a day of festivites with an evening reception and dinner at the Hilton by the Airport. It was amazing. It was our first Indian Wedding, and their family was so wonderful. Neil's brother helped us along. He even told me during the ceremony that I could stop the ceremony to get a picture if I wanted to. They place a very high importance on pictures. The wedding is very active and long. Children come and go as they please and there are a wide variety of amazing colors. The groom comes in with a parade and then the two meet outside and are lifted to exchange garlands. There was lunch after the ceremony, then another ceremony, down time, cocktail hour and then the dinner and dane.

Rina was beautiful and was very sweet. The whole family was fun. People flew from India, London and all over the United States for their beauiful Wedding. It has been going on for three days, but we just came for the last one.
