Hope in the Cold

This morning I woke to 35 degrees outside and a session outside at 9am. I made sure Miss Hope was up for it, she wanted to have her pictures taken! So we proceeded. It was fun. Her mom just wanted her to play and for me to be able to capture her. She had so much fun in the leaves and with sticks and the waterfall. It was a fun morning with fun pictures as a result!

Humor Me

OK, so FedEx gets my vote for the day. They pulled through with bringing our MacBook Pro from China to Georgia in two days. That made me pretty happy. I was playing around with my little "Photo Booth" and built in Camera. I used a mirror to do a self portrait of the computer. :) We had our Powerbook. I had it for four years. Her name was Miss Mary Mac (maybe some of you remember that song from your childhood) so the newest member of the family is called...Big Mac. I had it to my left. One monitor in front of me and one to my right today as I edited. My work space was filled up! :) I watched Grey's Anatomy as I edited today. You can watch the episodes for free at abc.com as well as their other shows. I recommend The Nine. Enjoy the pic of our newest child!

Jason and Tara's E-Session

This couple was so fun. She laughed at him CONSTANTLY. They said this is how it always is. He has a way of keeping her in giggles. So cute! We drove to a second location and they were behind us. I was at a red light and I saw them in my mirror. I saw them still laughing and talking. They were so cute. I was thinking Chris should turn around and get some cute pics of them on the road. I felt something change in my peripheral vision. I thought it was time to go. I went, and as I did I saw a big red light over my head. AHHH! I ran a red light. I felt like a crazy person. They were right behind. I guess we should keep the pictures to when we are not driving....or at least when I'm not driving. :)
Here are a few from me and Chris. There were many pictures, some more posed as well. These were some of my favorites.

The Beautiful Cassie

Today I went to Virginia Highlands in ATL. For those of you who know the area, you love the area. We had a great time. Plenty of changing of outfits and we even had time to stop for lunch at La Fonda! mmm. We ended up at the Fox. It made for some nice shots.I'm posting quite a few, because I couldn't decide on which ones to share. I loved them all!

A Savory Dish

Yesterday was a much needed lazy day after a crazy week and before another crazy week. After watching movies and napping...I made Chris and I mussels cooked in olive oil, garlic, and red wine. Oh, they were yummy. We also had heirloom tomaotes cooked with snow peas and topped with fresh cashews. It was all sided with fresh baked bread and a Shiraz. mmmmm......

Caroline and Doster

Here are my niece and nephew. To them, I am "Auntie." I have been their family photographer since Caroline was born in the delivery room. My sister keeps the books for the business. It's our trade, and works really well. These are Caroline's 4yr and Doster's 1yr. pictures. Don't you just want to eat them up!

Our pictures

Here are our wedding pictures. For some of you, we've met only recently. Since it was only six months ago, we thought y'all might enjoy seeing some of our own wedding pics. Our buddy Jerrod Brown (we went to college together) graciously documented our day. He was awesome. We edited them, so I wanted to put these up so he could see them as well. There are clay wall vases at the end of the pews. I made all of those by hand. The flowers were fresh herbs and hyacinth. The chapel is Frost Chapel in Rome, Ga on the Berry College campus.
In the ceremony, Chris washed my feet, symbolizing the servent heart we both want to treat each other with in our marriage. For obvious reasons, Chris was the only one washing feet. I was giggling in the picture, because he was drying between my toes. It was sweet of him to do, because I hate anything between my toes. :)
Enjoy!

In need of some down time

This has been a busy week. We had two sessions this weekend as you have seen. Then I was in Rome yesterday demonstrating Pottery to a group. It's such a powerful experience. I love it.
Today I have editing to do as well as cleaning and shopping.
The pic is from us testing lighting and the area before the lovely couple arrived!
